Brava Mail
Brava Mail is a desktop email app made by BRAVA for the studio’s own use. It runs on our own computers and connects to Gmail accounts that their owners sign in to themselves, through Google’s sign-in screen.
With the access granted (Gmail read, compose, send and labels), the app shows, sorts, drafts and sends mail for that account. Messages, sign-in tokens and settings stay on the computer where the app runs. They are not sent to BRAVA, not sold, and not used for advertising.
Only when the account owner asks for it (a summary, a draft reply, sorting the inbox, a question about the inbox), the text of the relevant emails is sent to the AI service the owner has chosen and signed in to with their own account: Claude by Anthropic or ChatGPT by OpenAI. Nothing is sent to an AI service otherwise.
Brava Mail’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be removed at any time in the Google Account under Security, Third-party apps with account access, or by disconnecting the account in Brava Mail, which deletes its sign-in from the computer.
